No. F|CDFP is open to anyone willing to learn. Basic computer literacy (knowing how to use a computer, install software, browse files) is helpful but not mandatory. The course starts from fundamentals and builds up.
Is the training recorded if I miss a live class? +
Yes. All live sessions are recorded and uploaded to a private student portal within 24 hours. You can watch them anytime during the course duration and even after completion for revision.
What is the exam format? +
The final exam is entirely online and consists of two parts: (1) Multiple-choice theory questions covering all 20 modules, and (2) A practical hands-on challenge where you'll analyze a forensic image and submit a report. You need 60% to pass.
How long is the certification valid? +
Lifetime validity. No renewal fees or continuing education credits required. Your certificate and verification ID remain valid forever.
Will I get a certificate after completing? +
Yes. Upon passing the exam, you will receive the official F|CDFP certificate from ForenCYX Technologies with a unique verification ID that employers can verify on our website.
What if I fail the exam? +
You get one free retake within 30 days. Additional retakes after that are charged at ₹2,500 per attempt.
Do I need to buy any software or tools? +
No. We provide access to all required forensic tools, lab images, and software during the training. Some open-source tools (like AutoPSY, Volatility) are free and you can install them on your own system as well.
